Hamptons customers are pure gold
Hamptons customers are pure gold
All at Hamptons Penarth are overwhelmed, yet again, at the Olympic sized generosity of their customers.
Over £180.00 was raised as a result of their recent Olympic Art Competition and Olympic Torch photo-shoot which benefited the Teenage Cancer Trust, a registered charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer.
The talented winners; Niamh Bannister and Siân Blackburn were photographed with 400m Olympic medallist Jamie Baulch, Grammy award winning soprano Rebecca Evans and Olympic torchbearer Lara Cowpe with her Olympic torch. Winner of the pre-school category, Carys Evans, was on holiday for the photo call but luckily her grandparents, Mr & Mrs Edwards, were on hand to accept Carys’ prize on her behalf.
Members of the public then also had the opportunity to have their photographs taken with the Olympic torch in return for a donation to The Teenage Cancer Trust.
Peter Knowles of Hamptons commented “Lara was thrilled with the total and we’ve had great feedback from the people who had their photos taken. We also thank Rebecca Evans, Jamie Baulch and Lara Cowpe, as their personal commitment undoubtedly made this event the success it was. Their assistance, and our customers generosity, means so much to us but even more to the Teenage Cancer Trust. Thank you from all of us.”
